  1. The list must probably be updated. There are a lot more Indonesian bloggers who have achieved more than the ones listed on this article.

You should also consider blogs written in Indonesian, as the bloggers above are known mostly by foreigners but not Indonesians.

Some other criteria should also be considered like their fame in the Indonesian society or what contribution they have done for the country or what achievement has been obtained by each blogger.

Some good Indonesian blogs have recently come to the surface of Indonesia’s blogosphere.

    1. Hi Anton,

You are very right, several other blogs in Bahasa Indonesia are probably more prominent than some of the blogs mentioned above.
The purpose of ASEAN UP is however to present information, people and companies that the whole ASEAN region can understand. That’s why the bloggers selected were limited to the popular ones that write English or bilingual blogs.

Do not hesitate to list some top bloggers in Indonesian (or English) in the comments section so that those who would be interested in local blogs get more info.

    2. Hi Anton!
      Thank you for your comment!
You have mentioned that there are a lot more Indonesian bloggers that are not listed. I am looking for them for the advertising campaign. Could you list some Indonesian bloggers (they might be not TOP)? For me it is a foreign market, it is not easy to find out.

  2. This is good that there are Indonesian writing blog in English. Browsing at glance, I almost don’t recognize that is Indonesia. That is Jakarta definitely but not Indonesia. I was born and spend my high school in Jakarta. Now I live in the village and work with the farmer on produce local healthy farmer products. I can see that Indonesia is so rich with cultural and agricultural aspect. There is none on the list blog above. It just show how low we appreciate farmer.

    Salam from Warung Martani Prambanan.
