Since 31 December 2015, the ten ASEAN member countries have officially launched the long awaited ASEAN Economic Community. With this important milestone, Southeast Asia sets its eyes towards new heights of development and a more integrated region that will gain in global competitiveness.

In its second year of existence, ASEAN UP sticks to its purpose with the recent publication of a 200th resource for business in Southeast Asia. Aiming at becoming the platform for business of Southeast Asia, we would like to sum up what’s been done, what’s coming next and, maybe, also welcome your ideas.
ASEAN UP is one year old!
With the coming of the month of April, ASEAN UP just reaches its first birthday! Its modest yet encouraging success until now let us be hopeful for the future. It is a good time to review the work accomplished and perspectives for future with the upcoming ASEAN Economic Community.
